-Most women wear "Bump-It's", google if you need a better visual :)
-If you pass a cop or two on the Hwy, you're free to speed because you've probably passed the whole police force
-You know you're out in the country when your utility company is called "Blue Moon Electric", lol
-Gas is only $3 a gallon (you can roll your eyes now)
-Gas stations and grocery stores have Elk and Moose heads mounted on the walls
-Everyone has a gun collection :)
-You can ride motorcycles legally with no helmet, same goes for bicycles
-Most cars come with Keyless engine start
-People leave their cars running in the parking lot while they go grocery shopping
-Wreaths and Family names are usually on the outside of every home
-People don't lock their doors, and families leave their kids bikes outside and they're still there in the morning.
-You can see fountain drink lineups as "Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, and Diet Coke Caffeine Free"
-People have a fascination with the song by Toby Keith "Red Solo Cup"
-If you visit Costco in Provo at any given trip, you'll be surrounded by young couples between 18-25 with said bump-it's, 4 kids in their cart and 8 months pregnant. And I thought Kollao was fruitful :)
-Everyone in town drives a Ford, Chevy or Dodge truck, with a few other truck companies sprinkled in there. Women especially love their trucks!
-There is snow on the mountains any direction you turn, it's so beautiful.
-Speaking of beauty, driving down the Hwy, you're bound to see many good sized deer dead in the road or on the side. Which explains all the trucks. Lord protect my little Saturn.
-It's legal to drive while talking on your cell phone :) But very illegal to text while driving.
-Plastic bags are not banned out here, and thus people collect so many, they end up throwing away the extras because there's just SO many.
-Which leads me to my next fun finding...there's no recycling out here. There's only garbage. No sorting of paper, plastic, can, garbage. It all just goes to garbage!
-Our church we've visited held a luncheon after service featuring all of the animal kill from last year's hunting season. HAHAHA, totally awesome!
-My personal favorite is the family-centeredness. Everyone is so nice and so family friendly that it makes it easy feeling at home when you're away from home. Although a visit home is ALWAYS welcomed. Can't to go home and visit everyone!

Bahaha! Sad thing is, we don't actually use Bump-its, it's just our hair ratted up! Let's see what else I have to add... It's Moon Lake, not Blue Moon :) Even with Scott out of town, I slept with my doors unlocked last night. Glad I inspired an entry about plastic bags :) I laugh about the rest, because it's all true! Keen powers of observation friend ;)
